Cave in
I'm trying to write a review of the new Nick Cave album, but what's the point? It seems like it's absolutely impossible for this guy to record an album that sucks. Every single thing this guy puts to tape is fucking brilliant, so why even bother with reviews? A reviewer's job should actually be to nitpick everything else that comes out, then mention, "Hey, there's a new Nick Cave album out so you may as well not waste your money on all this other crap and just go buy it."
Seriously. The man is around 50 years old and still manages to make impossibly good music. Amazing.
Do you know why I don't write and record music anymore? Because there are people like Nick Cave out there who make people like me look like complete twats for wasting people's time with the music I write and record. They should all just go buy the latest Nick Cave album.
