364 days out of the year (well, 365 days this year) more attention is given to my Irish heritage. However, for this one day, we turn our focus to my Mother's Polish heritage and have a traditional Polish Easter breakfast. This has always consisted of cold Kielbasa, hard boiled eggs, babka (polish bread) and little else (hey, working class Polish folk didn't have much). Since vegetarianism was introduced to the festivities five years ago, I've brought along pickled beets, fruit salad and pirogies. This year we also had Spinach Quiche and

hypoxia made succulent cinnamon apples. Growing up there was always more plate than food, but things have evolved in such a way that I left my Sister's place this afternoon just wanting to shit myself and stick my finger down my throat. I don't think I was this full at Thanksgiving. I doubt I'll eat at all in the next couple days.

Work has been a real drag lately. The mall has been packed with people, particularly kids on Spring Break. I load my carts up at my truck then try to haul them through the mall without hitting anyone, but it doesn't always work out that way. There's been no love for the UPS Driver lately. My Brown days have been rather gray.

So yeah, I leave the house at 8:30 in the morning and get home around 8-8:30 at night. I try to do some writing but it's difficult during the week. In three weeks I'll have another vacation and, believe me, I'm counting down the days. I'm going to be getting a new phone soon that will allow me to access the internet (in a limited capacity) while I'm at work, so I should be able to answer emails quicker and even occasionally make a random Lj post during the day.

UPS and DTC. That's pretty much my life right now. That's it. Every now and again I make a public appearance.

Speaking of which, May 22nd will be the first anniversary of the switch from Gothling to DarkTwinCities. It's still a couple months away but I thought it would be cool to plan something fun around that time. Anyone have any ideas?

This song rules. I never got a chance to review the album, but Ire Works is amazing. If you like Faith No More you really need to check out DEP. They're like a supercharged FNM.

Oh, and I never reviewed the KMFDM remix album, Brimborium, but it's really, really cool. I don't like writing about remix albums but rest assured, Tohavabohu was a cool album and Brimborium is just as good, if not better.
