Out today: the new Meshuggah album, ObZen. Absolutely astounding. And on a lighter heavier side, Zimmers Hole (essentially, Strapping Young Lad without Devin) - When You Were Shouting at the Devil, We Were in League With Satan. This is shaping up to be a pretty damn good year in music. |

I really dig aSHES dIVIDE. I'll miss A Perfect Circle, but this is definitely the next best thing. Accessibly ethereal with a dreamy kind of heavy, impossible hooks, finesse and drama without all the melo. It's like Smashing Pumpkins without all the suck. Nice job, Billy. I look forward to picking this one up. |
